Hands-on coding and making for kids ages 6–14. Python, Scratch, robotics, and engineering in small groups with real instructors. No experience needed.
Kids learn Python by building real things: games, animations, and interactive programs. Each day builds on the last, and by the end of the week every camper walks away with projects they actually wrote themselves. No prior coding experience needed.
Kids discover the joy of coding by snapping together colorful blocks in Scratch. They'll build animations, interactive stories, and games — all while learning core programming concepts like loops, conditionals, and events. Perfect for younger or first-time coders who want a visual, creative introduction to computer science.
Equal parts inventor's workshop and science lab. Campers design circuits, model and print 3D contraptions, and build robots. All of it guided by instructors who know how to make hands-on projects stick. The week ends with campers showing off what they built.
// New to Hackingtons?
We've been running coding and engineering programs for kids since 2014. Here's what we actually believe about how kids learn best.
Not a video, not an app. Our instructors are in the room building alongside your kid, giving real feedback in real time.
Small groups mean instructors actually know your child's name and can meet them where they are, not where the curriculum assumes they are.
Kids leave each day with something they actually made: a game, a circuit, something to show their family that night.
Beginners and experienced kids work side by side. Our instructors adapt to each camper's level. No one is left behind, no one is bored.
// About Hackingtons
Hackingtons has been running coding and engineering programs for kids since 2014. Our Dublin location on San Ramon Rd is one of our most active in the Bay Area. We serve families from Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon, Livermore, and Danville.
During the school year we run weekly classes for ages 8–16. Summer camps are a way for younger kids (and kids who just want more) to get a full week of building in a row. Many summer campers go on to join our year-round program in the fall.
If your child comes home excited and wants to come back, that's the goal.
